FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (July 21, 2026) – The Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new online Chamber Certification program, making it easier than ever for businesses to obtain Certificates of Origin and other essential export documents.

Offered through a partnership with the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce (AWTCC), the program allows businesses to submit, certify, and retrieve trade documents electronically—saving time and streamlining the international export process.

Businesses exporting products outside the United States are often required to provide a Certificate of Origin, which verifies the country where goods were manufactured. Many countries also require additional trade documents, such as Certificates of Free Sale, commercial invoices, and manufacturer declarations, before shipments can clear customs.

"This new Chamber Certification program gives exporters an efficient, reliable way to obtain the documentation they need while connecting them with experts who can help navigate the complexities of international trade." 

In addition to issuing Certificates of Origin, the Chamber Certification program offers certification for other trade documents as well as optional apostille and embassy legalization services for countries requiring additional authentication. Businesses also have access to guidance on country-specific documentation requirements, online tutorials, and phone and email support from experienced trade professionals.

Certificates issued through the program are provided by the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce, an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)-accredited chamber, and can be verified through the ICC's online verification portal. The electronic platform also maintains complete document records, helping businesses reduce errors and avoid costly shipping delays.

The online service is available to all local businesses, with discounted pricing for Fredericksburg Chamber members:

• Fredericksburg Chamber Members: $30 per document
• Non-Members: $60 per document
